The 6th graders at Highland School were recently honored during a special recognition ceremony celebrating their achievements and growth throughout the year. Families, teachers, and friends came together to cheer on the students as they wrapped up their final year of elementary school. Highlights included a tribute from graduating seniors who once attended Highland and other Hamilton elementaries, a heartfelt speech from Mrs. Lambertson in honor of her retirement, a performance by the Highland Choir, and a video filled with memories from the students’ time at Highland. It was a special sendoff, filled with warmth and encouragement, as they look ahead to middle school.
