Students are working on r controlled spellings in RGR. They work in partners to complete a roll and read and write sentences to expand their vocabulary knowledge. 

In writing, we have drafted a pourquoi tale, which is an origin story that answers our questions about frogs, like why do frogs have long tongues? 

They are now partner planning their own pourquoi tale to plan and draft the beginning, middle, and end of a narrative text focusing on a problem and solution.
