Students in Mrs. Beacher's 4th grade class are working in collaborative groups to research various animal defense mechanisms, exploring how different species have developed unique strategies to survive and protect themselves from predators. Each group is focusing on specific animals, investigating their physical traits, behaviors, and adaptations that help them evade or deter threats. The project encourages teamwork and critical thinking as students analyze the connection between an animal's environment and its survival tactics. By presenting their findings, students will deepen their understanding of the diversity of life and the complex interactions in ecosystems.
