Sixth grade students are starting the year off with some drumming review! In 5th grade, students learn about these drums called tubanos and continue instruction through 6th grade. Students are using a poem about ice cream to learn a rhythm on the tubanos and then will later compose their own rhythms using names of different ice cream flavors!
