Students in Miss J’s class have been gearing up for holiday season meal prep. Their first objective was to pick menu items and determine the total using addition with money skills! After prioritizing and purchasing their favorite food items, students used bills and coins to buy apple cider and hot chocolate for a taste test. The class voted and compared the data to determine hot chocolate is the best holiday drink! Finally, students chose a personal favorite and wrote down observations in their writing journals.
